The UKFP is in charge of organizing the Philippine Kendo Team to compete in international events. This also includes organizing the Training Pool Program from which members of the team are selected from. The latest international event that Philippine Kendo Team participated in was the 2019 ASEAN Kendo Tournament, where the Men’s Team won 3rd Place, the best result of a Philippine Kendo Team in the history of the event.

The Training Pool Program continued their activities as late as 2021 in spite of the pandemic. This was in preparation of possible participation in the 2022 World Kendo Championship and the 2022 ASEAN Kendo Tournament. However, with the subsequent cancellation of both tournaments, the Training Pool Program is currently on hold.
