APO Cup 2023 Results

Last Saturday, Jan 28, 2023, the La Herencia Davao Compound in Davao City (the home dojo of the Davao Kenyukai Kendo Club) was the host of the inaugural Apo Cup. This is a kendo tournament that pit teams of three in friendly competition against one another. This was also the first UKFP sanctioned tournament since 2019.

The UKFP is now open for membership renewal and new applications for the year 2023! For current UKFP Members (as of 2022), the last day of your membership is on Jan 21, 2023 and you must complete all of your membership requirements to renew your membership for 2023 on or before this date.

This is an online panel discussion organized by Mr. Kunihiko Sugiyama of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde for his thesis project. It is scheduled for this coming Saturday, April 16, from 2pm onward. The discussion is meant to highlight Kendo as an art, and how it is applicable for Filipinos, especially in modern times.
