UKFP Gasshuku June 2023

The UKFP will be holding a series of Gasshuku (Training Camps) in order to help prepare the Philippine Kendo Team Training Pool to participate in the World Kendo Championships next year in Milan, Italy. While the main focus of these Gasshuku will be the Training Pool members, any and all kendoka who want to improve their shiai/competition skills are invited to attend these camps.

This first Gasshuku will be held on June 18, 2023, a Sunday, in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Please note the following details of the event:

- Date: June 18, 2023 (Sunday)

- Time*: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

- Venue: Main Basketball Court, Moro Lorenzo Sports Center, Father Masterson Dr, Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City, 1800 Metro Manila

- Who Can Attend: Any kendoka already in bogu class. Those who are not yet in bogu can attend, but only to watch and observe the training.

Please note that registration for this event is a must if you plan to attend. The Ateneo Campus, where the venue is located, has strict security policies. This includes us sending them a list of all participants and companions. If you are not on the list, you may be denied entry into the campus. Also note that the Moro Lorenzo Management requires all event participants to be vaccinated against COVID-19. If necessary, please be prepared to present your vaccination card/certificate.
